This manual is a compilation of ASA's “Subcontractor's Negotiating Tip Sheets” that cover a host of topics to help subcontractors navigate harmful subcontract language and provide suggested responses to prime contractors' excuses. Each sheet provides subcontractors with the information needed to negotiate a particular subcontract clause and includes ASA-recommended language, samples of a client's proprietary subcontracts, sources for information, and more.
