Under the new silica standard, construction employers are required to limit worker exposures to respirable crystalline silica and to take other steps to protect workers. The construction standard provides alternatives for compliance, which small employers may find useful. Also included in addition to exposure control methods, are additional requirements to which construction employers must adhere.
