The American Subcontractors Association (ASA) is inviting NGA members to attend a live one-hour webinar on immigration worksite enforcement. Rebecca Winterscheidt from the law firm of Snell & Wilmer will discuss the dramatic immigration enforcement changes we should expect, and are beginning to see, under the new Trump Administration. The construction industry is one that most expect will be targeted for increased I-9 audits and unannounced worksite raids. There are proactive steps that your company can take to be prepared for this increased scrutiny. Your company and your employees need to know how to respond and what rights they have when confronted by state or federal officers. Rebecca is a graduate of the University of Kansas School of Law and has been practicing employment and immigration law for over 40 years.
