Accelerated laboratory testing is an invaluable resource to help determine how products can perform in service. However, outdoor weathering testing is required for true benchmark data on material lifetime in outdoor service environments. Outdoor testing is an important and inexpensive complement to accelerated testing that can help give manufacturers and suppliers confidence in their material testing, provide rapid, realistic results, and help to establish working Correlation Factors between laboratory and real-world results.
