September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and Construction Suicide Prevention Awareness Week is September 9-13, 2024. In recognition of promoting the importance of workplace mental health, substance abuse and suicide prevention, NGA welcomes guest speakers Cal Beyer and Kevin Hines to participate in an engaging conversation about how glass and fenestration industry leaders can help protect their workplaces, families and friends from these risks and share strategies that promote recovery. 

Cal Beyer, CWP is the Senior Director of SAFE Workplaces for national nonprofit SAFE Project (Stop the Addiction Fatality Epidemic). 

Kevin Hines is an award-winning filmmaker, brain/mental health and suicide prevention activist, author and speaker who shares his lived experience surviving a jump from the Golden Gate Bridge with a message of hope and recovery. 

Max Perilstein, Sole Source Consulting, will be a guest moderator.
